~ Intelligent Battery Operated Picture Lights & Power Supply ~

At Charter Lighting we always look for ways to improve our products and services. Nothing used to hit our ‘In Box’ more often than the difficulty of lighting paintings where there is no readily available power. Our response has been to develop a robust and sophisticated battery package. Now you can power your picture lights effortlessly and without the disruption associated with mains wiring and you have the freedom to position your artwork wherever you want it!

The Intelligent Battery Power Supply comes in two parts - the Brain Box and the Battery Pack. These are discreetly positioned behind the painting and should be mounted onto the same surface as the picture light itself, be that on the wall or the frame of the painting.

The battery pack is designed so it can easily be detached from the frame or wall for when it needs re-charging. For larger picture lights (18” and above) we have an ‘on board’ charging facility whereby the battery pack can be charged in situ using a remote charging unit.
When the battery power runs low the red indicator light on the brain box will light up and reflect off the wall. The system will power a picture light for between 25 to 35 hours.

The Intelligent Battery pack has been developed to provide an unprecedented level of sophistication and flexibility in use. Operation is via remote control, using Radio Frequency protocols - works even through the canvas - for simplicity and convenience. The dimming functionality is easy to use and a memory function reactivates the light at the last brightness setting. Current is monitored to maintain consistent light levels throughout the life of the pack and a re-charge notification prevents light exhaustion.
