Fibre Optic lighting remains the only entirely permanent lighting solution for situations where access for maintenance is an issue. Because the lighting projecting heads at output need never, ever be accessed for maintenance, fibres will always provide a completely trouble-free solution for:

  • high level lighting (canopies, atria and high level exterior lighting),

  • wet area lighting (fountains, swimming pools, etc.),

  • chandelier lighting, and

  • lighting that is built into the architectural fabric of a building.

Absolute Action is the parent company of Charter Lighting and specialises in the development of fibre optic technology for the purposes of illumination and display. It has a wealth of experience across many applications, from museums and galleries to residential and commercial projects.

Our Spectralux 6000 LED light-source is the perfect solution to upgrade all industry-standard Glass or PMMA fibre systems, as well as any new-build applications.

The Spectralux 6000 LED is the latest addition to the high-performance Fibre Optic Projectors by Charter Lighting designed and manufactured in the UK.

Light output is ideal for substantial fibre optic lighting applications, making this a perfect retrofit to upgrade all industry-standard Glass or PMMA* Fibre systems, as well as any new-build applications.
The Spectralux 6000 is a 75W to 121W, CRI typically Ra98 LED light-source, delivering a maximum output comparable to a 175W Metal Halide equivalent Fibre Optic Projector and utilising the latest LED chipsets and driver technologies.

*PMMA … Poly(methyl methacrylate), also known as acrylic, acrylic glass, or plexiglass.

The light-source is maintained at optimum operating conditions through the use of temperature-responsive control technology via a near-silent Maglev fan. With a typical Tj of the LED at 47ºC allows for improved lumens per Watt and increased LED longevity and reliability.

The new Spectralux 6000 features proprietary optional WiFi connectivity for live data streaming and communications, either as a WiFi Station or a WiFi Access Point with data storage internally and on the cloud. Equipment alerts and diagnostics are also included.

Light output is ideal for any substantial fibre optic lighting applications, making this a perfect retrofit unit for all industry-standard Glass and PMMA fibre systems, as well as any new-build requirements.
