This tiny, battery operated LED picture light is best suited for small paintings – and can be used in tucked-away places. Featuring the same brilliant qualities of the mains-powered version, the Battery Power Supply liberates you from the need to chase mains power to your picture light location, so saving on all that re-decorating! The remote-control operation and dimming functionality provide an unprecedented level of sophistication and flexibility in use, easily enabling just the right degree of brightness to be delivered even for the most sensitive of watercolours. The battery system is easy to re-energise and will last for hundreds of re-charges. We are proud to have designed, developed – and manufacture – everything here in Britain.

~ Selecting Portrait or Landscape Orientation ~

Our picture lights are fitted with different focal-length lenses depending on which orientation you select. Portrait style lights have larger focal lengths to match the additional height of the picture being lit. If your picture is square, please choose the orientation based on the content of the image (e.g. for landscape images pick landscape orientation, for portraits of people or faces, please choose portrait orientation.)

~ Battery Power Supply ~

Our Fineline picture lights can be powered using our Intelligent Battery Power Supply. This means that good quality, reliable, lighting can now be provided for paintings to whose location there is no mains power.

We have developed a uniquely-sophisticated control and monitoring system which regulates the power drawn from the batteries so that the light works consistently and without the usual irritations of fading, flickering and colour-shift. We use RF signal protocols for the on/off and dimming functions, so the ‘brains’ associated with the system can be located invisibly behind the painting.

For each picture light size, a corresponding array of batteries is provided which delivers up to 25 hours of running time before the batteries need to be re-charged. Spare battery packs are also available so that one set can be charging while the other is in use. If you wish to purchase a spare battery pack contact us for details.
